Wiltshire Council has
just produced a revised Housing Land Supply Statement (2015 update) which has
increased Bradford on Avon’s housing requirements from 17 to 64 by 2026. This means that the plan consultation that was
to have taken place in September has been delayed.
The Neighbourhood
Plan Working Group will now have to re-assess the housing policy and determine
the best options for the town to accommodate the extra dwellings. Until this has been done the Draft
Neighbourhood Plan cannot be completed and presented for consultation.
We are sorry for the
delay and will do all we can to ensure that the draft plan is presented to the
town at the earliest opportunity.
