The Bradford on Avon Neighbourhood Plan set out a vision for
the future of the town and includes plan policies to influence the way that
changes should be managed to 2026.
The final consultation on Bradford on Avon Neighbourhood
Plan will begin on 3rd May 2016:

Comment sheets will be available online or at venues
There will be a static display in the library from the 16th
to the 27th May 2016 during which Councillors and Working Group
members will be in attendance between 12 noon and 2pm to answer your questions.
After this final consultation and comments have been
collated the plan will be submitted to Wiltshire Council to be publicised on
their website for a further 6 weeks to permit wider consultation. Once this is completed Wiltshire Council will
appoint an independent examiner to assess the plan to check that it conforms
with local and national planning policies and E.U. Directives.
If all goes well the Inspector will recommend that a
Referendum be held in the parish of Bradford on Avon to accept the plan.
The plan is nearing completion it has been a long process
with some unexpected obstacles along the way. The Town Council would like to
thank everyone who have helped with this Neighbourhood Plan especially the
residents for their interest and contributions.
